Working at the Cleveland Museum of Art certianly fuled many of my ideas, including this one.

Pearl Eater is inspired by an ancient Indian poetic trope in which a goose/swan/hamsa mistakes the droplets of water falling from a woman’s hair for pearls and swallows them.
