Naiads

This piece reimagines the classical trope of women bathing, drawing inspiration from art history's fascination with the feminine form. Depicting naiads (water sprites) immersed in a tranquil moment, these nude and soft figures appear lost in their own world, untouched by the viewer’s gaze. Their serenity offers a fleeting glimpse of peace, inviting contemplation of intimacy, beauty, and the mystic connection between feminine forms and water.

This is one of my favorite drawings, but it has been rejected from every show I have submitted it to! More for me, I guess.
