Continuous Contours

These are a few continuous contour drawings I did back in early 2023. Honestly, I’m not sure what sparked them, just a random urge to scribble, I guess. I’ve always loved simple line drawings, and there’s something about a wonky contour that hits me with instant nostalgia. They remind me of Drawing 101 and flipping through my old brown-paged sketchbook.

To my surprise, many of these were accepted into group shows and sold!

And then, probably one of the coolest things I’ve had the honor of doing so far, I walked into my local coffee shop one day and asked if they ever hang art on the walls.

Next thing I knew, I had an entire wall to myself… for over a year! I ended up selling a bunch of prints, took on a few commissions, and even designed a t-shirt for them.

But that’s a story for another time ;)
