"Mythic Visions" explores femininity through religious and mythological narratives. Each ink drawing blends the visual language of comic books with the expressive minimalism of woodblock prints. The exhibition centers on themes like Divine Femininity, gender roles, and the sacred power of the feminine, drawing from various historical sources. At its core is the Japanese concept of mitate, where unexpected figures replace expected ones to offer a fresh take on classical themes. These reinterpretations honor art history while reimagining ancient stories in a contemporary form. Through bold lines and subtle details, I aim to bridge ancient narratives with modern expression, creating work that feels both timeless and personal. My drawings invite viewers into a space where past and present converge.
